One Word Film
This film was a project done with a partner, and we needed to produce a 60-90-second film that revolves around one word that should describe the whole film. We were not allowed to use any dialogue and were limited to very few words that could be seen within the film itself. Each person had to edit the film individually so that our teacher could see how developed our editing techniques were.
During the brainstorming activity, I devised all the scenes and what shots to use and used them as a guide while we filmed. The storyboard also helped us a lot while we filmed as it helped us depict exactly how we wanted it to be executed. I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the film which I found to be more effective and useful than other editing platforms I have used.
I think that our plot was very well executed and the idea on paper was very good but we do have to on our recording techniques by improving the shots and positioning as well improve the acting and emotion depicted in the film. I would've also liked to add sound effects but I didn't as I over-read the part where it said we could use sound effects.
